Saturday
Hello. Late already, yeesh sometimes I (like millions of others I am sure) wonder where does the time go? Ok, so Scott drilled today which meant no work out............I did however vacuum the house, shave rusty all the way down and bathe him! That is a work out, believe me LOL. They have the PRT's in the morning but then we will be having a bbq with the unit. Can't wait to get outside without it raining lol. We are all bringing sides, Scott asked for sausage cups. If I'm not running too far behind in the morning I will take some pictures. They are by far (I think) our favorite appetizer!!

Day 1 of the other challenge :)
I'm posting this up here not because I figure other people want to read about it but because I need to hold myself responsible. We have control of our own lives. Or so I am told so I am determined to start holding my self responsible for the things that need changing in my life, and changing them~
So, I did it yaaaaaa! 37 minutes on the treadmill today. Scott and I went to the gym on Little Creek. I'm not so sure what a good idea starting on a Friday was, especially as Scott has to drill this weekend, but we'll see. One step at a time and yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I took 37 minutes worth of steps LOL. What a great Friday, thank you Lord for all the strength you give me!

Thursday
OMG Today has been all about sunshine! It is sooooo beautiful! Got to see Joshua today, that always makes me smile. I will post some pictures later. Seems I am taking plenty of them just not doing it along with the challenge lol. Leave it to me...... : )
I found this today and it really peaked my I can do nerve LOL "Tailor it if you're trying to prevent or treat heart disease. True, any activity is better than none but sweeping or pulling weeds probably won't work your heart hard or long enough to significantly reduce the odds of clogged arteries, heart attack, or stroke. Instead, do 30 minutes of moderately vigorous exercise four or five times a week to dramatically lower your heart risk. A study of nearly 40,000 women found that briskly walking at least 2 hours each week halved the risk of heart disease." Do you see that, "dramatically lower" for just 2 hours a week. I have to be able to do that, I mean really and with all the time I have on my hands? Yeesh, I'm sure as hell gonna give it a shot, I'll let you know how it goes.!!

Dinner Tuesday Night!
Ok, this is the chicken that started the sandwiches for tonights dinner. Mmmmm mesquite chicken breasts.
Here, we have added it to a whole wheat bun then placed cheese atop it! This one is mine and has Swiss cheese, the next picture is Scott's which has pepperjack cheese.
Then, grilled pineapple, here I had to grill on my indoor pan but it worked just fine........
That hot pineapple warmed the cheese quite nicely! Mmmmmm :)
Fresh jalapenos, mind you this is Scott's version mine has fewer of the peppers :) And before shutting it I applied roughly a teaspoon of some horseradish mayonnaise.
And then, our side dish................roasted sweet potato bites..........they may look burned but I promise they do not taste burnt. They are delicious. Schwanns sells the sweet potatoes frozen and already chopped, then spray butter and season salt. Rockin' side dish.

Go Figure!
Well, today was day one of the photo challenge and when I went to get started, my camera decided it was finished. Yes, I had to go buy a new one. Research, research, research, then found one I liked and as you see how late this post is......................No pictures were taken. LOL Tomorrow is another day! I guess I will start then! :) It truly was a beautiful Monday though!

Steelers!!!
I am a die hard Steelers fan, and today they made me proud. Last week, well I didn't even want to talk about that game it was AWFUL! But today there was some redemption to be had! I am very glad football season is here! Hubby doesn't mind either, most Mondays are very quiet at our house as I like to yell at the television alot!!~ :) And tomorrow, I start my 30 day Photo challenge that I found via my good friend Jaime! :)
